The Dash & Splash is an officially timed 5K race around Lake Nokomis followed by a dip in chilly Lake Nokomis! All participants receive a medal and a race t-shirt as well as Plunge incentive items. For this event, you must raise at least $115 total.

ALL DOGS WELCOME!
The Frozen 5K is a dog-friendly event! Participants are welcome to run or walk with their furry friends.
As a bonus, the first 150 canine finishers will receive a Finley’s gift bag! Participate and pamper your pup. Thank you to Finley’s for supporting the Frozen 5K!
PARKING + SHUTTLES
Note: Lake Nokomis Parkway will be closed entirely around the lake from 7:45-9 AM on Saturday, March 1, for the Frozen 5K. Please plan accordingly.
Parking near the Plunge site is extremely limited, so we highly recommend taking advantage of our Minneapolis Plunge shuttle!
– Shuttle stops are located around Lake Nokomis and at the Mall of America.
– Shuttles are FREE and run approximately every 15 minutes.

Saturday, March 1: 9 AM-4 PM
Frozen 5K shuttles
There will be 1 shuttle departing the Mall of America at 7 AM on Saturday, March 1, for Frozen 5K participants. There will also be buses looping around Lake Nokomis from 7-7:45 AM on Saturday, March 1, for Frozen 5K participants who park around the lake.
Ride share zone
There is a designated ride share zone for those who wish to utilize Lyft, Uber or other ride sharing apps. It will be located in the “boat launch area” just south of Lake Nokomis Park. The space cannot accommodate waiting cars, so please set accurate pick-up times and be ready to go when your ride arrives.
